The Vavilov Manor is called the “classics of Russian hospitability”. It is made in the manner of a traditional Russian villa and situated at the distance of 25 kilometers from the Vladivostok center at the city suburbs named Sadgorod. Its history started in 1934 when the big family of emigrants got a half-ruined house and a land spot with the area of 1 hectare. The family of 9 people set up the garden and repaired the house. That old house served them for 50 years. In 2001 the foundation for a new house was laid at the territory of the old one, and its construction took 7 years.
The Vavilov Manor is a perfect place for cultural enlightenment and enjoying tea drinking with traditional Russian pastry like pryaniki (gingerbread) and blini (pancakes). Here you can also visit the unique workshop of gingerbread decoration, the bakery and observe the big collection of traditional Russian clothes. Many couples come here to hold wedding ceremonies.
