The Korabelnaya embankment is located in the very center of the city on the shore of the Golden Horn bay. At this embankment you can see a memorial complex devoted to the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. It consists of the monument to the first builders of Vladivostok, a 14-meter long obelisk in the shape of a sail, the Krasny Wympel memorable ship-monument and the Soviet submarine S-56 museum in front of it. In 1985 the Krasny Wympel and the S-56 submarine became the parts of the Pacific Fleet glory memorial. That memorial was also decorated with the Eternal Flame Stone.    

This is a wonderful place for pleasant promenades. You can enjoy the view of the Golden Horn bay which is beautiful both in daylight and at night.
